Christmas Wolf and School pictures

Kaitlin is very excited about all our Christmas decorations! We play "I spy" everyday with Christmas ornaments on the tree and we have been talking about the different nativity people and animals. She was admiring our stockings and was trying to understand why the Christmas Wolves were on our stockings! It was so so funny... They are reindeer but she was so confused how wolves fit in the whole Christmas story!

This does kind of look like a wolf!

Kaitlin and Colin have not been very excited to take pictures recently but that hasn't stopped me from trying!

Colin was even showing off doing a one handed crawl to get away from me! He is getting super speedy at crawling these days.

This is Kaitlin's school picture... I took a picture of a picture! I think the snowball is so funny! I laugh every time I look at it and know how much work it took to get her looking at the camera.

Here is a happy happy brother! He does smile in pictures sometimes!

We were so blessed to have Didi and Rachel come to Ohio and celebrate Thanksgiving with us! We had a great time of food and lots of laughter! It was a great time and we are so thankful to be with family!

The wishbone!!!!

We went to the mall on Black Friday and had the best time! We all found something at different stores to buy, Kaitlin had so much fun and Colin slept the entire time we were there! Everyone was super grumpy and we attempted to get people to smile to no avail!! It was such a fun day with Didi and Ray! They also watched our kids Friday night so we could go on a date! We went to dinner and it started snowing !!! It was very romantic …. like a Christmas movie! We are so sad they are gone but we can’t wait for a Tennessee Christmas!

My little turkey

I can not believe it is already Thanksgiving week! This year has flown by and it feels like we just had Thanksgiving! I can't believe this is Kaitlin's 4th Thanksgiving!
I wasn't even trying to recreate this picture but thought it was funny she still does the same pose two years later!
Kaitlin has really understood the idea behind Thanksgiving this year and wishes everyone we see "happy Thanksgiving" it is so precious!
Kaitlin made this cornucopia in school and she is so so proud of herself!
So thankful for my little turkey!

Animal ABC

Kaitlin made up a game to match her letters with an animal! Kaitlin started the game at school and her teachers were very impressed! I tried to continue the game at home and glad we caught it on video!

Stylish fall

Well the cold weather came back and it is very obvious we are not use to the freezing temperatures.

Everyone at school was all bundled up with huge puffy coats, gloves, hats and scarfs! Kaitlin waltzes into school in her cape and bow! She loved the cape stating it was "stylish"! She is too funny!

Colin was thrilled to get a little attention before we headed to school!

Then he showed us his new trick pulling up in the PAC n play.

Clearly he had the best day ever!

He grew overnight I think! All his pajamas are a little extra snug now!

Warm weekend

We had a wonderful weekend! It has been warm all weekend ( in the upper 60's ) and we have enjoyed every second! I think I could handle it up north if it was like this all year! No bundling up or coats were needed this weekend and it was a nice break from the cold!
We went out for ice cream on Friday.... You can tell ice cream is her love language!
We have had a wild and crazy fall so it was so nice to spend time at home with no big plans!
My two loves in coordinating outfits
Check out that smile
After church today we went to the outdoor mall to soak up the 70 degree day! It was so much fun just being together doing a little shopping and looking at the beautiful Christmas tree! How cool is this tree in the water!
It was such a great weekend of fun in the sun!
