Weekend Update!!!!!

Kailtin had a wonderful weekend!!! We went to Byer's Street on Friday night and Kaitlin was wonderful!! She sat in her highchair and was amazed at all the people coming in and out of the resturaunt! We were so excited to have Will come up and watch the big game with us!!Hopefully the outcome will be better in the upcoming years!

Go Vols!!!

Kiki and Pop came up on Saturday and got to play and play with Kaitlin!! They really tired her out. We had a great time!! What a great weekend!!

My Little Pumpkin

Sitting Up

Kaitlin has been sitting up by herself for a while but she could not get to the seated position from her back. She would try and try but never got all the way up. So last weekend Kory and I were playing on the floor with Kaitlin. Pretty normal weekend morning and then she sat up all by herself. We were so excited and cheered and upset Kaitlin very much!!!! She started crying and was so startled. She is now sitting up all the time showing off her new skill.

Dr Joe said that she may be ready for some self feeding food so we tried to see if she was interested. She LOVES the Biter Biscuits!!

Nap Time

We are attempting to get Kaitlin to nap in our Pack N Play.... as you can see it is way more fun to play then nap.She finally did fall asleep but she had a blast before her nap!

6 month checkup

Kaitlin had her 6 month check up yesterday! She weighed 19 lbs 11 0z and is almost 27 inches long! Dr. Joe was listening to her heart and Kaitlin grabbed his stethoscope and would not let it go. Dr Joe was impressed with her strength and quick hands!!Kaitlin is doing a great job of sitting unassisted and she is trying so hard to sit up. Kaitlin is trying to pull up on everything even in the bath tub she is trying to pull up using the side of her tub. Her favorite activity is to jump. Kaitlin will jump if you hold her and she is most happy in her Jumperoo!!Her shots bothered her a little last night but she is back to normal today!
