Day 2 in NYC started out in the Lower East side at Clinton St baking Company! This cute little place was on every top 10 list so Kory knew we had to eat here! We had a window seat and it was a great way to start the day! They are famous for their pancakes and they were amazing! My eggs were the best eggs I have ever had! Ever!!
We headed down to the financial district after brunch. The 9/11 Memorial was so vast and really took my breath away! We spent a long time reflecting at the memorial! It was very impactful for both of us!

We grabbed some New York Pizza and it was amazing! Then we saw Wicked!!! I knew all the music but had never seen it and I was amazed! Kory thought there was a bit much on the singing! Ha! He is not a musical kind of guy but loves me so much that he suffered for me!
Kens Steakhouse was the prefect after theatre prethratre place to eat!!! It was amazing food and great service! And so close to Broadway!
Aladdin was amazing!! It still has the original cast and they were unbelievable! I could not stay on my seat it was so amazing! We had great seats and it was a dream come true! 2 Broadway shows in one day!
Kory surprised me with an early anniversary trip to New York City! He had every meal planned reservations made months in advance
He even got us tickets to Late Night with Seth Meyers!! It was an amazing getaway and I am so thankful for all the help it took to pull it off!!! Our parents and my sister were amazing and took such gray care of our kids while we were away!
We started off walking in Central Park! It was so fun to be exploring the city!
We ate lunch at Eats on the Upper East Side
They were on the Best burger list and it was a great long lunch!!! We had a window seat and loved people watching!
We checked in our hotel The Waldorf Astoria and we had an amazing view! It was a great location and we could walk so many places!
We headed over to Rockefeller Center and got our tickets to Late Night!
Late Night with Seth Meyers was so fun!!! It was really amazing to be behind the scenes of a show and see how everything worked!!!! Seth Meyers had Ben Stiller, Alisha Cuthbert and a msnbc anchor on the show!!! It was one of our favorite things we did on our trip!!
Kory managed to get reservations at Laconda verde in TriBeCa ! It was an amazing Italian restaurant and it was so New York!!! The food was the best Italian food and it was just a wonderful meal!
We had a wonderful Easter with our little family in Ohio!
We made it to the early service and Colin made it thru the entire service! Kaitlin sat with us and really like the music!
Kaitlin loved her Easter dress this year she thought it was extra Eastery with all the bright colors!
I got a little adventurous this year and we did Easter Brunch! It may be our new Easter tradition! I made pioneer woman cinnamon rolls and homemade buscuits. Kory made omelettes to order, crispy hash browns and we had honey baked ham! A family favorite. It was easy and so much fun!
It was a very special day! We celebrate Easter and are so thankful for Jesus!
