We are loving living in the Southwest and all the neat things to do in Arkansas! Kaitlin decided to get in the spirit and sport the cowgirl look! We are in cowboy country where trucks rule and cowboy hats are everywhere!

We celebrated Kory’s birthday this weekend and had  so much fun even with all the craziness of closing on a house. We were working at the house and cleaning so we stopped for a little break and had a wonderful dinner at P.F. Changs!

Welcome Home Kaitlin Grace!

This is a day we have looked forward to for a very long time! We closed on our house and are excited about getting settled in Arkansas! Welcome home Kaitlin! This is not permission for you to become a razorback but it is nice to be back in the SEC!

Road Trip

Kaitlin and I packed up and went to visit Kory's sister Gina and her family this week. We met her Checotah!! Very ,Very small town is an understatement and we almost had to wait at McDonald's for a seat due to the church crowd. That is the only place in town to eat and it was packed at 12:30 on a Sunday. No wonder Carrie is not in Checotah any more!

We had the best time with the Evan's family and are so glad to be so close to them. We did play kitchen the majority of the visit and it is Kaitlin's new favorite game. Thanks for having us!! We had a blast!!

Happy Easter!!

We had a wonderful Easter! Kaitlin spent her second week in the church nursery and survived!! She was not a happy camper but she looked so cute in her bunny dress that you could only smile at her grumpy face!

The Easter Bunny did come visit her and left her all sorts of treats. We celebrate this wonderful day and are so thankful the He Lives!!!

Happy 5th Anniversary!!!!

We celebrated 5 great years of marriage today!! It has been so crazy the last few weeks that Kory and I both were forgetting the big event. With a big first birthday, moving across the country and trying to buy a house we did get in a night to celebrate. Mom and Dad were here and insisitant that we go out by ourselves. I even dressed up and waited for Kory to pick me up for our date at a mystery location. I thought we would go to PF Changs... much to my surprise he made reservations at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. I was so excited and it was so yummy. It was nice to relax and have a wonderful meal.

Bentonville Kupcakes opened today in time for anniversary cupcakes!!! I got 6 cupcakes for 5 sweet years and one to celebrate the year to come. They were so good and a fun way to celebrate!

Visiting the ducks!!

Mom and Dad made the long drive out to Arkansas to help with our transition and help me find my way around town. We had such a great time exploring the town, shopping, and finding all sorts of cute places to eat. We kept driving buy a store that said "Chicks are here!!!" so Mom and Dad took Kaitlin to check it out. She got to see real life ducks up close and personal!! She was not quite sure what to think!!

We had to stop by the Walton 5 and Dime and explored all of Walmart's history! It was such a fun time and I am so happy they made the long drive out to see us.
