Birthday weekend

My birthday was Friday and we celebrated all weekend! We went to Deweys Pizza on Friday! It was relaxed and a fun dinner out with everyone!

They even gave me a Deweys glass with this cute birthday message!

Kaitlin gave Kory specific instructions for the cake! She had the idea and Kory made it happen!

Kaitlin scored another goal this weekend and she is loving soccer this fall!

We ran some errands and had a rare Sunday lunch out!

Kory helped Kaitlin with her castle KiwiCrate. They both had a lot of fun!

 

Thankful for a fun birthday weekend. Can't believe it is almost October!

Brave

We went to our Chickfila special event last week! It was all about being brave and having courage! They talked about people who are brave and we colored care packages for our police force and firemen! They had little fireman hats to color too!

Colin has never liked the cow but he did not cry at all! He was so brave! He was playing peekaboo with the cow by the end of the night! This is amazing progress.

Weekend Fun

We had the best weekend when Didi and Ray were here! They had an early birthday party for me and let Kory and I go on a birthday date!

We went to Mitchell's steakhouse and it was amazing. The wedge salad was the best! Such a fun night out!

 

Church had family Sunday so Kaitlin got to sit in big church with Kory! I was in the 3 year old class so I was glad Kory documented the milestone!

It was amazingly warm in Ohio so we are taking full advantage

We know our warm days are very numbered so we have been taking full advantage and spending lots of time outside

We are so thankful for a fun warm family weekend!

Pumpkin patch fun

We had a fun visit to the pumpkin patch after our morning at the soccer fields. Colin's love language is pumpkins and he had the best day of this year exploring the farm!

Soccer Saturday

Kaitlin had an early game this week! It was not cold and was a beautiful crisp Ohio morning! We love her sweet team and it is so fun cheering for the girls!

Kaitlin scored 3 goals this week and had so much fun too! We are so proud of our soccer star!

It was extra special since Kaitlin had an entire cheering section at the game! We were so thrilled to have Didi and Ray come up for the weekend

We had a celebration breakfast at SunnyStreet Cafe!

Such a fun start to a special soccer weekend!

Colin's first day of school

Colin had his first day of school last week. We went to meet the teacher day and he was very excited!

He is looking so big and grow up these days

He sat and did a craft

And explored the room

He was less than excited to take a first day of school picture.

Kaitlin did give him an extra hug for good luck

This was the best I could do!

He had a great day and went right in his classroom no tears! He didn't even look back to say goodbye. He ate lunch like a big kid and they said outside playtime was his favorite. He was so dirty after school covered in paint and dirt. I wish I had taken an after school picture! I am very thankful for a great start to his year

A day with the crew

Kaitlin and Kory went to the MLS Columbus Crew game on Sunday! It was an amazing day with beautiful weather. It was sunny and 70 degrees. The game was in the afternoon so they got to enjoy the entire game.

They sat in the family section so they had games and the mascot visited more often

They had a special play area just for kids and Kaitlin had a blast
