Avalanche Park

Kaitlin & Kory went to Avalanche Park today at Mad River Mountain!

Mad River Mountain is only about 45 minutes from our house so it was a quick ride to have so much fun. They stayed all morning.

They got to ride down together 7 times and the 2nd time was Kaitlin's favorite!

They even stopped by the kids snow pile at Mad River Mountain on the way out. Kaitlin had a great time climbing the "mountain" before heading home.

Kaitlin says next week she wants to learn to snowboard. Better gear up Daddy!!

Snow day

We got snow Sunday night and Monday! So we got another snow day!

I had everyone's snow clothes ready to go Sunday night so we got out to play in the snow pretty early on Monday!

Kaitlin bolted for the snow and made a snow angel first thing!

We had so much fun

A Musical Birthday Weekend

Didi came up to Ohio last weekend and we had a great time!!! It was Didi’s birthday and we celebrated all weekend! 

Kaitlin was excited to celebrate with some yummy cake! 

Friday we had birthday brunch after we picked Kaitlin up from school! 

 Didi babysat Friday night for us to get a dinner away at J Gilberts 

Saturday we went and saw a friend in The Wizard of Oz! It was Kaitlin's first musical and it was so fun to see her joy and excitement! She loved every second of the show! We watched the movie earlier in the week and she knew all the songs! It was such a fun afternoon!

Kaitlin and Didi did sock puppets and Didi helped us with our rainbow loom!! 

Didi and I headed to downtown to Cap City and then to see the musical Newsies!! 

Two musicals in one day!!! We had amazing seats and the Ohio Theatre is amazing! 

The musical was amazing!!! i had high expectations of loving it and it surpassed them! The entire show was amazing! It was a acton packed weekend! Happy Birthday Didi!!! 

New Years fun

We had a very fun New Years Eve!! We had party food and played, danced and had the best time as the party of 4!

It was a low key party

Netflix had a pretend countdown and we had fun ringing in the new year with the kids

Kaitlin did so great skating and did the best on the ice that she has ever done. She was the last one off the ice. And begged to go back on when they closed for the night! Such a fun tradition. Kaitlin is so excited to go skating again very soon!
