Graffiti
On Thursday, we had yet another great day! Kaitlin had a great time on the beach. She never did quite figure out what to make of the white sand, but she smiled and giggled as the waves crashed on her!
That afternoon, Kory, Kaitlin, Rachel, & I went out to Seaside where I had the best cupcake EVER … out of an air-stream trailer no less! On a down note, Kory didn’t exactly get his money’s worth out of his $9 Pina Colada & Rachel had the worst $4.50 milk shake of all-time. But we still found time to have fun …
Gigi & G’Daddy went on a date first that night while we put Kaitlin to bed then Kory, Rachel, & I ventured out to Baytowne.
While we were waiting at Graffiti, Rachel & Kory went a little crazy. Rachel wanted to pull off a jumping picture – which would have been cute if Kory could’ve timed the shot better, but she still looked good in her new blue dress!
Kory, in the mean-time, found a few friend. He walked off & Rachel & I found him admiring some “art” …
Good times.

Shorty’s
Kaitlin had a great day on Wednesday. First, she got to show off in her VERY FIRST TWO-PIECE!!!! She was very excited to pose for the camera …
Later that evening, we all went to Shorty’s Surfside as a family for dinner. Kaitlin had such a great time as everyone was telling her how pretty she was and that she was SO well-behaved. MAN did she have those girls fooled! She was so hungry that she didn’t have time to pose for any family pictures so I’ll post some of the rest of us instead.

2 dates in 1 day!!
Kory and I went on a breakfast date to Another Broken Egg this morning! With coffee and beignets, it was such a great way to start another sunny day at the beach. We headed to the pool after our wonderful breakfast and played with Aunt Rachel. Kaitlin loves just walking in the pool and trying to steal all the other kids’ toys. She did love her own beach ball though. She is so happy in the water and loved every second of the pool.
After we put Kaitlin to bed we went out to Seaside while my parents stayed at the condo. Kory and I can’t remember the last time we went on 2 dates in 1 day. We walked around Seaside at sunset. It was so beautiful and relaxing. We ate at the Great Southern Cafe and had fried green tomatoes and yaya grits. It was very “new-fashioned” southern and very yummy!

The Red Bar
We had another great day at the beach! It has been wonderful weather here, sunny and HOT! We got out in the pool first thing this morning. Kaitlin is loving the water and she is having a blast.
Please excuse the Baby Coppertone Hairstyle; Kaitlin will not wear a hat or sunglasses so I apply sunscreen all over her head! She has been playing hide and seek with Gigi and G-Daddy and Kaitlin may be winning!
We thought the oil was here today but it was just an isolated incident!
Kaitlin played blocks with Gigi and G-Daddy …
while we went to The Red Bar!! It was so fun and we even got home to see The Bachelorette!
