Colin is keeping me very busy these days!!!
Colin knows what he wants and won’t stop till he gets it!
This kid has the longest arms in the world and can reach anything he wants!
His new pirate pajamas!!!!
He looks like a little boy and it catches me off guard sometimes how big he has gotten!
Loves his Smokey dogs!!!
and his pirate ship
Sweet Happy boy!
Today was “meet the Teacher day” for both kids!
Kaitlin was ready to go and wanted to stay all day! She was crushed when I told her that school didn’t really start until next week!
She is in the frog class and is so excited about everything!
We found our cubby and coat hook (hopefully we don’t need a coat for a few weeks!)
And she even found a frog with her name on it!
Kaitlin’s teachers made the day so special and had so many fun things to do in the classroom!
Kaitlin working on the craft
Colin had his meet the teacher day as well and I was worried I would be an epic disaster!!! He had a wonderful day and I am so thankful for a chance for him to play and learn!
He loves his new backpack and lunchbox!
He cuddled them and carried them around all morning! I thought he may nap with them he loves them so much!
He is growing up so fast!
So thankful for a great day! We are praying for our teachers and schools!
Kaitlin was camp queen this summer and she had a great experience!! She was the youngest in her class of 4 year olds thru graduated Kindergarten kids! She gained a lot of independence this summer and was in charge of finding her backpack and lunchbox. Kaitlin had to find her own towel and shoes on water day! She was not babied at all and it was so beneficial!
She loved sea and space camp!!!!
And loved wearing themed clothes!!
I love this picture so much!!!!! Kaitlin Astronaut!
Art Music and Drama camp was great too!
Hopefully all our camping at school will help for an easy transition to the new school year!!! We are very excited!
And every good date ends with ice cream
We went to the zoo last week and had the best time! It was perfect weather and overcast! We met my friend Summer and her family and it was a blast! I met Summer on twitter and read her blog since we both love the Vols! She has been such a blessing This year trying to help us find a church and even finding us a hotel in Cincinnati! It was great to meet her sweet boys and Kaitlin can't wait to see them again!
We had a great time seeing animals and even got to see them feed the orangutans! It was so neat to see them interact with the zoo keeper!
We had such a fun day and visit with new friends! Can't wait to visit the Zoo again soon!
Kaitlin was in Music and Drama camp last week! She did not talk much about it and I was wondering what had been happening all week! I got an email on Thursday inviting me to the camps production of the Little Red Hen the next day! I was so surprised!
Friday morning before the play I asked if she knew about the play! She knew the entire song they snag and gave me a preview!!!
Kaitlin was a cat!
They did a cute little play and sang a few songs!! Kaitlin was so proud!
It was a fun way to end a fun week!
Football season is almost here so we decided to take a daytrip before we have pans every Saturday until Christmas! We had a great day at Kings Island! We got there before the park even opened so there were NO lines for anything!Kory got to ride two roller coasters and did not have to wait at all! We even got to see them open the park and meet some Peanut characters!
We headed over to the kiddie area and found the crowd! Kaitlin was thrilled to ride this little Helicopter ride and her sweet Daddy waited almost an hour!
While we were waiting, Colin and I met some more friends!! Colin was not impressed!!!
Kaitlin rode a few more rides after lunch
And met Linus and his blanket
Kory won Kaitlin 2 dolls at a carnival game and it was the highlight of the day!!!!
We had a great day at Kings Island and it was a fun end to summer!
